Tools and frameworks for evaluating the implementation of learning health systems: a scoping review

This paper presents a scoping review of tools used to evaluate the implementation of learning health systems (LHS). From an initial pool of over 1,300 studies, the authors identified three evaluation tools. This finding underscores the necessity for early consensus on the key constructs that should be considered during the evaluation process. The results of this study highlight significant gaps in the evaluation of Learning Health Systems and emphasize the need for further empirical research to enhance LHS evaluation.
